The Eton Choirbook miraculously survived the monastery desecrations ordered by Henry VIII to establish the Anglican Reformation, preserving a significant portion of England\u2019s sacred music from the 15th century. Its magnificent scores evoke the atmosphere and spirit of the cathedrals, chapels, and monasteries for which they were intended, while figures, animals, and various objects inhabit its illuminated
