SUMMARY

Back by popular demand, Andrew McAnerney, Artistic Director of the Studio de musique ancienne de Montréal, and Francis Colpron, Musical Director of the Baroque ensemble Les Boréades de Montréal, are teaming up to bring you a dynamic weekend filled with the sublime music of Bach.

We hope you will join us for this very special weekend of inspirational music, surrounded by the spectacular beauty of spring in the Laurentians. And, as always, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced musician, CAMMAC’s warm and friendly ambiance will make you feel right at home.

In collaboration with CAMMAC Music Centre

PROGRAM

The repertoire for choir and orchestra will highlight Bach’s innovative and masterful use of symmetrical structure. We will be joined by four singers from the SMAM who will perform and teach vocal technique. This will be a rare opportunity for singers to receive personalized coaching from members of Canada’s finest early music vocal ensemble.

Chamber musicians will have the opportunity to work with David Ellis (cello) and Nathalie Camus (violin) from the Quatuor Saguenay, along with Myriam Bernard, who earned a Doctorate in Piano Performance from Université de Montréal and Claire Marchand, one of Québec’s most sought-after flautists.

In addition to choral and chamber music, the program includes various instrumental classes, and active listening, along with yoga sessions to help you relax and re-energize throughout the weekend.
